Kim's experience in the day spa esthetics industry is extensive.
Having initially completed her certification in Denmark, she then
advanced her training by exposing herself to traditional European
based services and practices. Upon moving to Canada she aspired to an
even higher skill level as an instructor and today her recognition in
the industry is such that she has, until recent years, served as the
director and head instructor of two accredited colleges in the
Vancouver B.C. area. She undertook the challenge of designing and
developing their training protocols which are still being taught in
their facilities today.
Kim's personal spa beliefs center around those which stress that the
exterior appearance of the skin and body is directly related to what
external conditions the body has been subject to, including the
application of chemically produced cosmetics commonly purchased off
the shelf. Skin conditions are most often a result of what has been
absorbed into the body and directly related to what is taking place
internally.
